Registration for an Immersion Course

What are Immersion Courses?

One of the greatest resources for immersion students is our unique repertoire of immersion courses, which help you develop French skills directly relevant to your discipline.

Immersion courses are a combination of two different courses: a regular content course taught in French (history, economy, etc.) and an accompanying 90-minute language course.

A language professor attends the content course with you, and then teaches the language class to help you develop the French skills directly relevant to your field of study. This language support is offered in first- and second-year courses to help you lay the foundation for your future bilingual studies.

Three units are attributed for the content course in French and another three units for the accompanying language course, for a total of six units.

For more information, please visit the French Immersion Studies web site.
